Clee In

Travelling to South Africa for 5 weeks to photograph the amazing wildlife, it was much more than a photo op. It was also for a love of animals and an opportunity to give back by volunteering at the C.A.R.E. Baboon and Animal Sanctuary and Siyafunda Wildlife & Conservation. To be immersed in "the wild", to be surrounded by wild elephants, to follow two male cheetahs, to witness a family of lions eat a "kill", to have hyenas circle my tent at bush camp...well, it was one of my best life experiences. And the photo ops were fab too.

C.A.R.E. is situated on the banks of the Olifants River, between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa in South Africa, in the middle of a ‘Big 5’ Nature Reserve.

MAKALALI Game Reserve, South Africa is an amazing 70,000 acre reserve with all of Africa's “Big 5” animals (lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard)
